Chi Nei Tsang Massage Course with Kat Gawor
Total: 35 hours | Suitable for healing practitioners, bodyworkers, space-holders, and curious energy explorers
Our Chi Nei Tsang (CNT) training is a 5-day immersive journey into the art of healing through the gut – quite literally – but with a strong emphasis on energy flow, trauma release, and spiritual integration.
Unlike traditional massage training, this isn’t about perfecting the “rub”. CNT is about feeling, listening, and connecting with the emotional and energetic stories stored in the body – especially the organs.
This course is equal parts deep dive, belly laugh, and sacred work. You’ll leave with the confidence to hold space for others and offer powerful CNT sessions — even if you still occasionally forget where the spleen is (don’t worry, we’ll help).
Chi Nei Tsang is an ancient Daoist abdominal massage technique that detoxifies and energizes the internal organs. This immersive 5-day course, led by internationally working therapist and teacher Kat Gawor, provides in-depth training in both the physical and energetic aspects of this transformative therapy.
Kat, who lives and teaches in India, is coming to Prague to share her extensive knowledge in a small-group setting, ensuring a high-quality learning experience with plenty of hands-on practice. By the end of the training, you'll be equipped to perform a full 60-90 minute therapeutic Chi Nei Tsang massage and will receive a certificate of completion.
What is Chi Nei Tsang?
Chi Nei Tsang (CNT) is unique compared to other abdominal massages due to its focus on detoxifying and energizing internal organs through Daoist principles. It combines visceral manipulation, energy and breath work and sounds to bring about physical and emotional release.
The most important focus points of CNT:
Focus on Internal Organs: Unlike general massage techniques that target muscles and external tissues, CNT works directly on the abdomen and internal organs to detoxify and enhance their function.
Emotional Integration: CNT addresses emotional and psychosomatic imbalances, recognizing the connection between emotions and physical health.
Energy Healing: It integrates Daoist principles, emphasizing energy flow (Qi) through meridians, making it a blend of hands-on therapy and energy work.
Holistic Approach: CNT treats the body, mind, and spirit as interconnected, aiming for overall balance rather than just symptom relief.
